CCT-Climate Change Trackers

TEMA CONFERANCE We held a conferance in our school about Climate Change. Our guest presenter was from TEMA,  Turkiye Erozyonla Mucadele, Agaclandirma ve Dogal Varliklari Koruma Vakfi – Turkish, Foundation for Combating Erosion, Reforestation and the Protection of Natural Habitats (TEMA) We became volunteers to help the organisation.   https://www.tema.org.tr/gonulluluk/gonullu-olun

  We have learned a lot  about the Climate Change through out the project. Now, we know what can be done to protect the Earth. We believe it all starts individually. Little steps can do big changes.                                                                    Earth Hour,  ASBL team all participated Earth Hour. We did some activities. It was great fun for us to do these activities.   

31 March 2022 We went to ECO CLIMATE SUMMIT FAIR with our students and teachers. There were lots of  activities  many of which points the importance of sustainability. We had an interview with Mr Baran Bozoğlu, the Deputy Director  gerelal of Ankara Water and Sewerage Administration.  by Ada-Nehir-İrem-İlayda He says that in Ankara the number of hot days in per year has risen. This means that even if you gather a lot of water in the dams, it easily evaporates in the hot days.   Pr e ticipation types have changed. We have more rain showers which causes floods. However we need more snow to feed our dams and basins.  

Local newspaper, Thursday May 12th 2022 On May 12, 2022, the local newspaper, voice of the north took out an article from the drought that made the front page to appeal to the urgency of lack of rain.  The climate change impacts the region of the tops of France more and more...
